Nominations for .net mag’s Young Designer/Developer of the year

The .net awards have opened up 2 new nomination categories which we’re really excited about. They are “Young Designer of the year” and “Young Developer of the year”. Would you help us put forward some names?

The deadline for nominations is the 15th of July, and the next day you’ll be able to vote for people who have been selected. We’ll also be discussing the topic in our forum and doing a showcase of the people you suggest. So help us find some young talent!

Criteria for young designer:

Nominees in this category should be under 21 years-of-age (on 17/11/2011) and have made a name for themselves in web/app design over the last 12 months. We’re looking for the rising stars who – although just starting out – can give the old hats a run for their money.

Criteria for young developer:

Similarly to the above category, entrants should be under 21 years-of-age (on 17/11/2011) and really kick arse in web development. They could have consistently produced outstanding work over the last year or created one groundbreaking project helping other web developers/designers in the process.
